DocullyVDR Private

Your Single-Tenant Instance. Your Control.

A single-tenant deployment of DocullyVDR, provisioned exclusively for your organization — with dedicated compute, database, network, and URL on Azure, owned and managed by DocullyVDR. Or bring your own Azure Blob Storage (or compatible) account as the file storage layer, so your documents live in storage you own and control.

What it is

A capability most VDR providers don't offer at all

DocullyVDR Private is a single-tenant deployment of the DocullyVDR platform, provisioned exclusively for your organization. Unlike a shared, multi-tenant data room where clients sit on common infrastructure, every layer of your environment — compute, database, network, and your own dedicated web address — runs on Azure infrastructure reserved solely for you. Nothing is pooled, partitioned, or shared. DocullyVDR owns and manages this instance end-to-end, so you get the isolation of a private, single-tenant deployment without having to provision, patch, or operate any of it yourself. Or, with Bring Your Own Storage, connect your own Azure Blob Storage account (or a compatible cloud object storage service) as the file storage layer — so your documents live in storage you own and control, while DocullyVDR continues to operate the platform itself.

Two Ways to Deploy

Choose the model that fits your infrastructure

Option A: DocullyVDR-Managed Single-Tenant Instance

DocullyVDR Private is a single-tenant deployment of the DocullyVDR platform, provisioned exclusively for your organization. Unlike a shared, multi-tenant data room where clients sit on common infrastructure, every layer of your environment — compute, database, network, and your own dedicated web address — runs on Azure infrastructure reserved solely for you. Nothing is pooled, partitioned, or shared. DocullyVDR owns and manages this instance end-to-end, so you get the isolation of a private, single-tenant deployment without having to provision, patch, or operate any of it yourself.

  • Dedicated compute — no shared servers or resource pooling with any other client
  • Dedicated database — your deal data is never co-located with another client's
  • Dedicated network — an isolated networking layer, not a logically-separated slice of a shared one
  • A dedicated web address — your own environment, not a partition of a shared platform
  • Owned and managed by DocullyVDR — single-tenant isolation without your team having to run Azure infrastructure

Option B: Bring Your Own Storage

Connect your own Azure Blob Storage account — or another compatible cloud object storage service — as the file storage layer behind your DocullyVDR data room. Your documents are encrypted and stored directly in storage you own and control, inside your own cloud subscription, while DocullyVDR continues to operate the platform itself: permissions, watermarking, activity tracking, Q&A, and every other capability work exactly as they do on any other instance. The only thing that changes is where the files physically live — in storage you own, not DocullyVDR's.

  • Your own Azure Blob Storage (or compatible) account
  • Files encrypted and stored in storage you own and control
  • DocullyVDR still operates the full platform — permissions, watermarking, Q&A, activity tracking
  • Only the file storage layer changes; everything else works as it does on any other instance

How DocullyVDR Handles It

How a private deployment works

1

Choose your deployment model

Decide between Option A — a DocullyVDR-managed single-tenant instance with dedicated compute, database, network, and URL on Azure — or Option B, connecting your own Azure Blob Storage (or compatible) account as the file storage layer behind your data room.

2

Provision the instance

For Option A, we provision a single-tenant deployment on Azure with dedicated compute, database, network, and web address — reserved solely for you. For Option B, we connect DocullyVDR's platform to your own Azure Blob Storage (or compatible) account, so your files live in storage you own while we operate the platform.

3

Configure access controls

Set up granular folder and file-level permissions, custom NDAs, and watermarking — all within an environment your IT and compliance teams already govern.

4

Run your deals

Your documents live inside infrastructure you control, with the same VAPT-audited security and full activity logs used across every DocullyVDR deployment.

5

Maintain the audit trail

Every action is tracked and exportable — for your internal compliance team and for any external audit requirement.

Features That Matter Here

Features that matter for private deployments

Single-Tenant or Bring Your Own Storage

Option A: a single-tenant instance with dedicated compute, database, network, and URL on Azure. Option B: your own Azure Blob Storage (or compatible) account as the file storage layer. Nothing is pooled, partitioned, or shared.

Granular Permissions

Folder, sub-folder, and file-level permissions — scoped within your own governed environment.

Full Activity Logs

Every file and user action tracked within your private instance — exportable for internal and external audit.

Custom NDA / Click-Through

Require agreement acceptance before anyone views a file — enforced within your isolated deployment.

Dynamic Watermarking

Every document view carries viewer credentials, timestamp, and IP — even inside your private instance.

Auto-Revoke on Expiry

Access shuts off automatically when a user's window ends — no manual cleanup in a private environment either.

FAQ

Questions about private deployment

What's the difference between a DocullyVDR-managed single-tenant instance and Bring Your Own Storage?

Option A is a single-tenant deployment where DocullyVDR owns and manages every layer — compute, database, network, and your dedicated web address — on Azure, reserved solely for you. You get full isolation without having to provision, patch, or operate any Azure infrastructure yourself. Option B (Bring Your Own Storage) connects your own Azure Blob Storage account — or another compatible cloud object storage service — as the file storage layer behind your data room. Your documents are encrypted and stored directly in storage you own and control, inside your own cloud subscription, while DocullyVDR continues to operate the platform itself — permissions, watermarking, activity tracking, Q&A, and every other capability work exactly as they do on any other instance. The only thing that changes is where the files physically live.

Can our compliance team audit the environment?

Yes — full activity logs are exportable, and the environment inherits the same VAPT-audited security and Azure certifications your team already understands.

Is a private deployment right for every organization?

No — it's built for enterprises, government bodies, and compliance-sensitive organizations that need isolated infrastructure. For most deals, the shared platform is sufficient.

Does a private instance have the same features as the shared platform?

Yes — the same permissions, Q&A, reporting, watermarking, and audit capabilities, just running inside your own isolated environment.

Who It's For

Built for organizations that can't compromise

Enterprises & Large Corporations

With internal data governance requirements that mandate isolated infrastructure.

Government & Public Sector

Regulated public-sector organizations with sovereign data-residency rules.

Financial Institutions

Compliance-sensitive dealmakers bound by sector-specific regulations.

Sovereign Data Rules

Organizations bound by sector-specific or sovereign data-residency mandates.

Government & Public Sector

Built for Government and Public-Sector Requirements

Public-sector procurement often comes with requirements that a shared, multi-tenant data room cannot satisfy — sovereign data residency, infrastructure isolation, and audit trails that hold up under external scrutiny. DocullyVDR Private is architected to meet those requirements without asking your IT team to operate the platform.

Single-Tenant Isolation

No shared multi-tenant exposure. Under Option A, every layer — compute, database, network, and your own dedicated web address — runs on Azure infrastructure reserved solely for your organization. Nothing is pooled, partitioned, or shared with any other client.

Jurisdiction-Specific Hosting

Choose the Azure region where your data room is hosted. If your procurement rules require data to remain within a specific jurisdiction — an India data center for DPDP alignment, a UAE region for local sovereignty, or an EU region for GDPR — the hosting region is yours to select.

Audit-Trail Requirements

Every file and user action is tracked and timestamped — view, download, print, permission change, and login. Full activity logs are exportable for internal compliance review or external audit, meeting the documentation standards typical of public-sector procurement.

No Shared Infrastructure Exposure

Unlike a multi-tenant platform where a vulnerability in one tenant's configuration could theoretically affect others, your private instance has no shared infrastructure surface. The only people with access to your environment are the ones you explicitly invite.

Why It Matters

Most VDR providers ask you to trust their shared infrastructure. DocullyVDR Private removes that requirement entirely. With Option A, you get a single-tenant instance where nothing is pooled, partitioned, or shared — dedicated compute, database, network, and URL on Azure, owned and managed by DocullyVDR. With Option B (Bring Your Own Storage), your documents are encrypted and stored directly in your own Azure Blob Storage account (or a compatible service), inside your own cloud subscription — so you retain direct ownership and custody of the files themselves, while DocullyVDR continues to operate the platform.
